Emma Gogan BA Hons, PGCE, SV

Emma began professional dance training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and completed her Degree at University College Chichester as well as gaining a PGCE in dance at BrightonUniversity.

Emma has had an extensive range of teaching experience including schools, colleges, and workshops. She is a Keynotes Speaker and Training Provider for dance teachers,  also a Standards Verifier for the Edexcel examination board. Emma also works as an Animateur with the Richard Alston Dance Company.

Alongside her teaching she has also worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer, performing with many companies including “Run–a-mok”, Puppik Dance, Storm Dance, Justine Reeves Dance, Wide Eyed Dance and choreographers including James Hewison, Wayne McGregor, Andrea Martin, Anne Colvin, Simon Birch, Emmeline Cresswell and Justine Reeve.  Emma has also recently co-founded ‘The Long and The Short of it’ Dance co for which she is also a dancer and choreographer.
